The True "Original" Kinesiology Tape from Japan by Nitto Denko

Nitto Denko was the first company to produce Kinesiology Tape, sold worldwide via a Japanese licensee under the licensee’s brand. Developed in 1987, Nitto Denko Kinesiology Tape products were engineered to mimic the thickness, weight and elasticity of human skin.

Material and adhesive development has continued, and the more than 25 years experience in the development and production of kinesiology tape provides a product that is considered to be the World Standard in Kinesiology Tape. No other manufacturer is able to boast Nitto Denko’s extensive experience in development and manufacturing for this product – it is the “Cadillac” of tapes.

In December 2007, Nitto Denko ended its partnership and has successfully launched the product under its own Brand of “Kinesiology Tape” in the Japanese and Asian markets, but these products were unavailable in South Africa – until today!

Nitto products use a high-grade cotton material with 100% acrylic, hypoallergenic adhesive. The tape is water-resistant and breathable, and can be worn for up to 5 days.
